Happy Birthday, Danielle

Today is your 25th birthday, dear sis-tor.. I am wearing your favorite color and mom bought one of your favorite cakes.  Gray fills the sky but chances of snow to fall makes it worthwhile.  There are so many things I've seen that I would love to get you and so many things I would love to make for you.  No one forgot your birthday today.. countless friends wrote on your facebook page and many sent me personal messages and texts.  You touched so many lives, I never realized.  You are the best sis-tor, sister, best friend, and protector anyone could ever ask for.  I am thankful I had 22 years to spend with you, my beautiful sis-tor.  I will cherish each memory and hold them dear to my heart.

Kelli, your other roommate, put purple flowers in their mailbox and tied a Happy Birthday balloon to it for you.  Behind it is the house they are rebuilding in place of the home that was destroyed.  I truly hope this home stands strong for many years to come.  I love you, Danielle, and miss you with all my heart..
